Get the Right Keyword Research to Save You from Burning Money

It's like a pyramid.

Building a blog system over time is like building a home or pyramid, you have to be firm in the foundation. It's like the tip of the iceberg, who knows what beneath the surface?

One of the building block of building a successful blog is keyword choosing. Master this, and it will save 80% of your time later on. Just like Pareto's law 20:80, 20% of your elements determine 80% of your success, this is your 20%.

The rest can be described like these :

20% keywords
20% contents
20% web design
20% on & off page SEO
20% social sharing

Those are based on experience. Master your keyword research nonetheless, you can always use it for another project anyway. Just like any good foundation, you can built it into a skyscraper, a building or just a nice hut, but with the same feature, they all earthquake-proof and tsunami-proof.

Enough with the introduction.

I've been using several tools for keyword spying and researching, the good one including Jaaxy and Keyword Studio, but plain Google Adwords Tools won't disappoint either.

Mostly they source from the same Google data, and for micro-micro niche that still haven't been detected or listed, you can spy on Semrush ( get your competitor's keyword data ) and traffic monitor website like Histats ( they have feature to show what people from search engine are searching on a website ). This is proven to be a real traffic booster.

You wouldn't have known how many people, for example, searching for "minecraft latest cheat code xxx", while many websites have not ready yet to even write content/article about it yet build link. This is simply your opportunity to sneak in.

That's one easy way to sneak in, but how to make it more effective?

Try to seek the balance between low competing keyword, high cost per click and searchable ( means many people are looking for it). 1000 to 5000 monthly search is a good starting point. You can see on "Suggested Bid" settings on Google Adword Tools.

Then the next step would be creating articles with your relevant long tail keywords, let's say,

<h1>New cheat code xxx for minecraft<h1>
<h2>cheat code with proven results and statistic to boost your level in minecraft<h2>

With the relevant title, you'll get relevant ads in which the advertisers are targeting ( hence the high bid settings ). Do it consistently for about 3 months, post 2 times a day with related keywords in a niche, for this example "minecraft cheat code".

With that method, you don't even need a backlink or social share to get 1000 unique visitors/day to your blog ( remember we were searching for 1000 to 5000 monthly search keyword).

Multiple it to multiple blogs and enjoy the profit!
